Dr. Evandra Catherine is the lead consultant at EC Consulting Group and researcher specializing in reflective professional development. As a reflective professional development provider, she supports early childhood and infant mental health professionals in engaging in intentional, reflective practice around issues of race, culture, emotional well-being, and racial socialization. Dr. Catherine’s work helps practitioners deepen their self-awareness, strengthen their practice, and cultivate equitable, emotionally responsive environments for children and families.
Services
I offer professional development and training focused on infant mental health and relational health, creating reflective spaces that foster psychological safety, connection, and growth. These offerings are designed to support professionals, organizations, and communities in deepening their understanding of relationship-based practice and the social-emotional well-being of young children and families.
In addition to training and consultation, I support systems-building efforts by connecting birth-to-five programs, community partners, and stakeholders around the shared principles of infant mental health. I also provide policy analysis and updates related to children, families, and the early childhood workforce. Available services include keynote presentations, facilitated conversations, and speaking engagements on topics related to early childhood, relational health, collective healing, and family well-being.
